Some parents are serious about this tradition and insist on white. Parents, bustle up those gowns! Remember, your the parent...
DRESS-WHITE OR CUSTOMARY PINK(NO TRAIN)
One of the most exciting parts is choosing the gown. Traditionally the occasion itself can be anywhere from very formal to quite casual depending on what the family decides.
It's okay to have a dress of color it symbolizes life and that a young lady should only wear white on her wedding day. That is a different kind of preference, and a different idea. You could have your damas wear another color which goes with your color scheme. Remember: "It’s your day and you are wearing the dress."
